Standards Setting

In the spirit of "vigorously developing group standards, guiding social groups to formulate original and high-quality standards" and "promoting standardization work such as evaluation services for scientific and technological achievements" proposed in the National Standardization Development Outline issued by the State Council in October 2021, in accordance with the requirements of the Standardization Law and the Provisions on the Administration of Group Standards (National Standards Committee [2019] No. 1) revised in 2018, the platform and relevant units jointly organized the formulation of the Guangdong Science and Technology Society Scientific and Technological Achievements (Technology Development) Evaluation Specification" group standard.

 

Standards include national standards, industry standards, local standards and group standards, and enterprise standards. Among them, group standards are standards jointly formulated by social groups in order to meet the needs of the market and innovation, coordinate relevant market entities, and the formulation cycle is 3-6 months: quickly respond to market demand, and are suitable for new products, new technologies and new services. In recent years, the state has vigorously encouraged and cultivated the development of group standards and supported the integration of patents into group standards.
